One trend that has taken hold is a more masculine take on modern design. Ron Davis Custom Homes and our designer, Rendered, has been exploring more industrial, dark and moody images that evoke a sense of drama in the home. As we move away from the colder, gray trend that was so prevalent in modern homes, we are looking to embrace deeper and darker textures. These warm and dark moments create a sense of place, allowing a homeowner to experience a relaxed and calm feeling, next to dark colors and warm wood tones. Natural, dark stones and black accents are the hallmark of this style and set it apart from recent trends.
In creating a more dramatic scene, we proudly to share with you some of the images inspiring us from around the globe. This Dark, Moody Modern feel is what is inspiring our latest spec home in Southlake, located at 4609 Saddleback Lane in the gated community of Saddleback Ridge.
